This remasters sound engineer , STEVE WILSON [from the band , Porcupine Tree] seems to get what the people who made the PINK FLOYD [James Guthrie] , BEATLES , GENESIS remasters seem to get. Make it LOUDER but not too much louder. The new stereo re-mix is just stunning. This is an absolutely first rate re-issue, lavishly, but sensibly packaged, with wonderful notes, exhaustive in detail (though how the misspelling of John Entwistle's name slipped through is beyond me). The Steve Wilson stereo and 5.1 remixes are glorious, being both revelatory and reverent and the mastering is sympathetic. Just a beautiful job all around, and well worth the cash.
